Based in Sydney, Australia, Brett is a Professional Photographer who specialises in Sport & Advertising.

He has worked with Red Bull, Getty Images, Under Armour, Asics, Jetpilot, Commonwealth Bank, The Athletes Foot, Adidas and multiple advertising agencies.

His career officially started in 2005, but he spent years earlier toying with cameras while skateboarding where his passion began. It was a natural progression for Brett to photograph sports after an entire childhood of playing team sports, followed by his teenage years skateboarding, wakeboarding and snowboarding.

A sports enthusiast through and through, Brett takes pride in understanding the sports that the athletes he works with compete in and builds a rapport quickly, so they are comfortable in front of the lens.

He has covered events such as the A-League Soccer, FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, Australian Open of Tennis, The Super Rugby, The Australian Youth Olympics, The NRL, AFL, Various Golf Tournaments, and more Cricket that he can remember just to name a few. He has had roles as a Senior Photographer across multiple editorial magazines, shot over 50 cover images, been a part of global photography teams, managed photography teams and worked solo to deliver his client’s needs.

Thriving under pressure, while staying honest and easy to work with, Brett can be mistaken on set for a carpenter wearing his work boots and worksite clothes (you can't climb trees, roll in the dirt and work hard in fancy clothes, I say).

Brett continues to work as a sports photographer, listening to the athletes and clients he works with to create unique and technical images. Occasionally, you might find him in the middle of the desert living out of his swag. He covers assignments for the 4wding industry, a side passion that takes him off the beaten track throughout Australia.
